Sand Martins Golf Club offers an excellent setting for your wedding reception with acres of greenery surrounding the Georgian style Clubhouse and its’ south facing patio, which is ideal for a summer drinks reception.
We can accommodate up to 110 guests for a daytime reception and 150 guests for the evening reception and our Restaurant has its own bar, balcony and private patio area.

A typical wedding package will include the following:
- Red carpet and personal welcome
- A member of the Events team will guide you through the formalities of the day and act as your
toastmaster if you wish.- Drinks reception of sparkling wine/bucks fizz or orange juice on arrival.
- Table plan, place cards and menus.
- Your choice from our wedding package menu selector.
- A half bottle of red or white house wine per guest, served with the meal.
- A glass of sparkling wine for the toasts.
- Use of silver cake stand and knife.
- Linen napkins to match your colour scheme.
- Flower arangements for all the tables
- A wedding favour for the lady guests to take away with them in your choice of colour and design.
- Hire of the room for the duration of the wedding breakfast.
- VAT and service charge.
The package above is available for a minimum of sixty guests.
Our Events Organiser will be more than happy to assist with introductions to some of our 'tried and tested' preferred suppliers for flowers, cakes, photographers, entertainers - you only have to ask.

Magical day, amazing venue for our reception
We couldn't have asked for a better wedding reception! The Events team worked tirelessly to create the most beautiful setting with stunning table decorations, delicious food, a fabulous marquee and spacious dance-floor. The Sand Martins Events team took all the stress and anxiety away from us and did everything we asked and more! And all this housing 146 guests!!
The day was PERFECT! Weather, setting, food and the very friendly, helpful and efficient staff. All our guests complimented us on our choice of venue and raved about the BBQ food which we had chosen for them. A big THANK YOU to the Events team, you made our wedding day a day to remember for us all.

Day delegate package includes:

Sand Martins has grown into the number one choice for many social events in the local area.
The private function room, housed in a red brick Georgian-style mansion, is an elegant setting for weddings and all manner of celebrations.
Our experienced team is able to help with every aspect of the event; it is easy to see why Sand Martins has become such a popular venue.
Our first floor function room has recently enjoyed an extensive refurbishment, enhancing the Georgian aspects of the building and its light airy atmosphere. We can accomodate up 110 for a sit down meal and 150 guests for a buffet. Our restaurant has its own private bar, balcony and private patio area overlooking the surrounding greenery.
As part of our support to any celebration held at Sand Martins we are able to arrange a wide range of entertainment from discos and bands to comedy, casino and close up magicians.
