Sand Martins' member, Stanley Bembenek, has been chosen to receive the Courage award at Wokingham Borough Sports Council - Sports Personality of the Year 2011 Award ceremony on Friday 25th November.

A 5-2 victory over Donnington Valley at Weybrook Park saw the Sand Martins Men's Foursomes Scratch team gain promotion to Division One of the Reading & District Inter Club Golf League.
