Since being officially opened in 1993 by Henry Cooper OBE, KSG, Sand Martins has grown into a busy focal point for many social events. Sand Martins boasts a 1st floor Restaurant function room and now represents an excellent venue for weddings, dinner dances, anniversaries, birthdays, christenings, private parties, conferences and meetings.

Sand Martins’ red brick Georgian-style clubhouse is an elegant focal point for the club.  Part of the building is the original farmhouse dating back over 200 years.  Inside is our members’ bar with an open fire for those winter months and a wonderful south-facing patio for the summer. These features combine to make an attractive, relaxing place to spend time with your friends and family.

Surrounded by acres of greenery, Sand Martins is an elegant setting for weddings and all manner of functions. With our experienced team able to help with every aspect of any event it is easy to see why Sand Martins has become a popular venue.

Our Restaurant has enjoyed an extensive refurbishment in the spring of 2009, enhancing the Georgian aspects of the building and its light airy atmosphere.  We can accommodate up to 110 guests for a daytime reception and 150 guests for an evening reception and our Restaurant has its own bar, balcony and private patio area.

We are pleased to be able to offer a 20% discount from our menu prices for Friday or Sunday bookings in 2009.

As part of our support to any function held at Sand Martins, we are able to arrange a wide range of entertainment from discos and bands to comedians, casino and close-up magicians.
