Wedding Reception Package

At Sand Martins we offer a complete wedding package priced at £56.00 per person for 2009, which we hope will make the planning of your wedding day much easier.

The package is available for a minimum of sixty guests and the price includes the following:

• Red carpet and personal welcome
• A member of the clubhouse team will guide you through the formalities of the day and act as your toastmaster if you wish.
• Drinks reception of sparkling wine/bucks fizz or orange juice on arrival.
• Table plan, place cards and menus.
• Your choice from our wedding package menu selector.
• A half bottle of red or white house wine per guest, served with the meal.
• A glass of sparkling wine for the toasts.
• Use of silver cake stand and knife.
• Serviettes to match your colour scheme.
• Flowers in bud vases for the tables.
• A wedding favour for the lady guests to take away with them in your choice of colour and design.
• Hire of the room for the duration of the wedding breakfast.
• VAT and service charge.

Please choose a set menu for the whole of your party. Any special dietary requirements that are required can be arranged in addition to this.

Choice of freshly prepared soup with crispy herb croutons

Salad of grilled chicken, avocado & crispy bacon with a chive dressing

Prawn cocktail with ribbon cucumber and Marie rose dressing

Smooth pork and chicken liver pâté on dressed leaves with a Cumberland sauce

Scottish smoked salmon and dill cream cheese timbale with a lemon & parsley dressing

Baked open cup mushroom with a three cheese and baby spinach filling

Smoked duck breast and pomegranate salad with dressed rocket leaves

French goats cheese tart with balsamic red onion compote

Main Courses

Pan fried crisp skin duck breast with braised red cabbage and celeriac mash

Roast strip loin of beef with Yorkshire pudding and a red wine sauce

Fillet of salmon baked with a cheese and herb crust on a prawn and garlic sauce

Chicken supreme rolled in basil and parmesan and wrapped in smoked bacon

Slow cooked English lamb shank on leek and butter mashed potatoes with a rosemary and port reduction

Chicken breast filled with ham, asparagus and mozzarella and presented on tomato & basil coulis

Roast loin of pork filled with apricots, sage and onion served with a Calvados and apple cream sauce

Supreme of pheasant with black rice and a wild mushroom and parsley sauce

Herb steamed loin of cod with a creamy baby spinach and white wine sauce

Old English sausages with a rich onion gravy and wholegrain mustard mashed potatoes

Grilled Provencal vegetable tower with a tomato, red onion and feta cheese filo hat

A choice of main courses can be offered to your guests should you wish. In order to facilitate this we would need a pre order for all of your guests seven days prior to your day. A charge of £2.00 per guest per extra choice will be made for this.

MAKING A BOOKING AND PAYMENT FOR YOUR RECEPTION

A provisional booking will be held for two weeks before we release the date without further notice.  To confirm a booking we require a written confirmation which should state the expected number of guests for the afternoon and evening receptions, a non-refundable, non-transferable £500.00 deposit and a signed copy of the terms and conditions.  These are required within two weeks of making the provisional booking.
